The Western States Rally
Championship (WSRC) is dedicated to rally competitors that are interested
in running western state rallies both inside and outside of their
home region, but do not have the time or resources to compete in a
national or professional championship.
The series fosters head-to-head competition at a level between regional
club-level championships and national or professional-level series.
The series will recognize the top drivers and co-drivers competing
in club-level events in the western United States by rewarding them
with meaningful year-end trophies.
The costs of administering the WSRC will be funded entirely by sponsors
and event organizers. No additional fees will be levied against competitors
in the series.
In the interest of fairness to its competitors, the series will strive
to balance its selection of points-scoring rallies amongst the different
western regions.
Because this is a competitor-driven series, the WSRC will be administered
by a board comprised of the event organizers and designated officers.
To minimize costs and maximize promotion of the series, the WSRC will
use internet technologies as its primary form of communication. |
